Shelby Cobra 289 Coventry Motors, Grant #96

The Coventry Motors #96 Cobra, driven by Allen Grant at the Twentieth Santa Barbara Road Races in 1963. The field was comptetive, but Grant impressed Carroll Shelby and won, beating out the Corvettes both days! Later that year, Grant and the Executor finished second to Bondurant at Riverside in another thrilling finish.
