The 50th anniversary celebration, affectionately dubbed “Passione”, began at the Concorse Italiano (Monterey, CA.) in August 2012. The event launched the 599 Relay car as it began a 20,000 mile journey across North America with the goal of visiting every region and chapter in the Club. The one-of- a-kind Ferrari 599GTB-HGTE was built especially for Passione and is the last North American spec 599 produced. It features a unique paint scheme and custom graphics representing the 50-year history of the Ferrari Club of America.
Founded in 1962, the Ferrari Club of America has grown from a small organization of about a dozen diehard enthusiasts to thousands of members who participate in hundreds of diverse and interesting activities every year in 16 Regions and 35 Chapters across the United States, Canada and Mexico.
