The brief 12 year run of Meadowdale Raceways in Carpentersville, Illinois is told in this 208 page, well illustrated history. With it's legendary 'Monza Wall' followed by a 4000 foot straightaway and a tight right hand Turn One, Meadowdale was one of the most challenging road circuits in North America. Although it closed after the final races of 1969, much of the circuit (and its trademark Silo) remains and now exists as the 'Raceway Woods' forest preserve.
