Giclee prints are produced by taking a high resolution digital scan of the original art. High quality Iris, or inkjet printers are then used, along with archival quality inks and paper (or canvas) stock to produce prints with incredible sharpness and brightness, in some cases making it virtually impossible to tell a print from an original painting. Giclee reproductions from paintings in the extensive portfolios of English motorsport artist Michael Turner and his talented son Graham are now available to collectors world wide. Most have never been available in print form before now. In addition to Turner paintings released exclusively in giclee form (as is Michael's tribute to Lewis Hamilton's first Grand Prix victory in 2007, seen below) The Motorsport Collector has selected several paintings with a Can Am or Porsche theme to be produced as giclees. Additional titles will be added on a regular basis.
