The Porsche versions 956 and 962
are the most successful racing cars in the history of Porsche
AG. For more than a decade, they dominated the various racing
series, the success speaks for itself: 5 producer and team World
Championships with 43 outstanding wins - including 6 LeMans victories,
5 driver World Championships, 4 IMSA titles with a total of 54
wins in Championship heats, including 9 victories in the long-distance
classics in Daytona and Sebring. Numerous National Championships
in Europe and Japan were achieved wholesale between 1983 and 1993.
A total of 150 racing cars were
