Onyx has returned to the 1/43 scale
sports prototype 'die cast' market with a vengance!
The first of these fantastic Onyx replicas
of the Nissans and Toyotas that competed at LeMans last year are
now in stock at TMC. A series of Porsche 911 GT1s, including the
98 LeMans winner, is scheduled to arrive in a few weeks.
The quality and attention to detail on this
new series is impressive, as you can see by the cockpit and engine
detail on the Nissan R390 GT1 at left.
The spectacular paint job on the
Toyota GT One has been reproduced with remarkable precision and
the shapes of both Nissans and Toyotas accurately molded using
plastic instead of 'traditional' die cast metal body shells.
Each model has been produced in
a Limited Edition of 5000 pieces worldwide. A numbered Certificate
of Authenticity is included with each model.
