This
impressive 1/8 scale model of the JPS Lotus 97T was produced by
Lang Models (part of the Minichamps family) as part of the Ayrton
Senna Collection. It measures 21 inches long, 10.25 inches wide
and nearly 6 inches to the top of the roll hoop. The model features
a fully detailed cockpit (see the photos below) a molded plastic
body, rubber tires and full John Player Special livery.
Ayrton Senna scored his first career Grand Prix victory in the Lotus 97T at Estoril in the 1985 Portuguese Grand Prix.
The Senna Lotus 97T has been produced in an edition of 333 individually numbered models. We understand the edition is sold out worldwide.
