New Construction Photos

Some dramatic changes have taken place
at IMS over the winter. I snapped a few digital photos from the
Tour Bus April 26.
Take a look.
The new look down the front straight.
The pit row garages are all in. Now
they're working on the Suites above the garages.
The new entrance to Gasoline Alley.
Temporary grandstands are being constructed
in front of the F1 garages.
I'm told they plan on putting additional
grandstands above the Suites.
The new Pagoda is nearly finished.

A new parking lot is being laid out
in the old 'snake pit' in Turn 1.

The road couse has taken shape. Tires
for the barriers are being moved in. This shot is from Turn 4
of the Speedway and shows the section of track as they come off
the front straight.
