We've been enjoying the various banzai runs included in our latest DVD offering 'Ghost Rider' ($26.95), the most amazing of which is the 'Uppsala Run', a casual 42.6 mile trek on the motorways north of Stockholm that our totally demented hero completes in a little under 15 minutes - an average speed of 170.1 MPH! The Ghost Rider's Suzuki dodges and weaves from shoulder to shoulder through hundreds of cars, trucks and more leisurely driven motorcycles in perhaps the most intense sequence we had ever seen, until we screened the segment called 'The Stockholm Run'. Here the top end speeds are a bit lower (rarely does he break 250 kph) but the traffic is heavier and much of the route is on two lane roads, forcing him to ride the center line to avoid truck traffic in both directions - a bit like a tight rope walker in a circus performing over a pen of man eating sharks. 'Ghost Rider's' unique instant replay feature ( appearing in the top right hand side of the screen) allows you to blink real fast and prove to yourself that your eyes are NOT playing tricks on you, while not missing a single moment of the action.
