5. 'F-Stops, Pit Stops, Laughter and Tears' by Bernard Cahier.
Photojournalist Bernard Cahier's two volume retrospective
is getting rave reviews here and in Europe. Supplies are getting

6. 1965 Times Grand Prix at Riverside DVD. The legendary
Can Am series was born out of this mid-60's series of west coast
professional races for unlimited sports cars. The entry list for
the '65 Times GP at Riverside was a virtual who's who of international
racing. From Foyt, Andretti and McCluskey to Gurney, Bondurant,
Grant and Ginther to Clark, McLaren and Graham Hill. Then there
was Jim Hall, Hap Sharp and their new 'flipper' Chaparral 2. This

7. Jim Clark: Life at Team Lotus. In my opinion, this collection
of images by Team Lotus photographer Peter Darley is the finest
book on the great Jim Clark that I've ever seen or added to my

8. 1/12 scale Ayrton Senna Lotus Renault 97T. The great
Ayrton Senna scored his first Grand Prix victory in the 1985 Portugal
GP carefully guiding his Lotus 97T through a driving rain. Minichamps
has finally released their long awaited 1/12 scale replica of
this famous racer and in our opinion, it's the best 1/12 scale

9. Sebring '63: Dan Gurney / Phil Hill #15 Cobra. GMP has
just released this 1/12 scale highly detailed replica of the sole
surviving 289 Cobra from the grueling 1963 12 Hours of Sebring.
Dan Gurney and Phil Hill brought the Number 15 car home a solid
5th in class and 29th overall (out of 65 starters) after steering
problems took them out of contention after 6 hours. Only 350 produced!
