'Creative Masters'

In 1989, Revell-Monogram introduced an exquisite series of 1/20 scale collectible replicas that set new standards for detail and authenticity. The Ford GT40, 427 Cobra and 1969 Camaro from that series stand as some of the most collectible die cast replicas ever made, commanding secondary market prices from several hundred to several thousand dollars per car.

In 2000, the Creative Masters line will be reintroduced to collectors with the release of 5 new high detail 1/20 scale models, produced in strict Limited Editions of 3000 pieces each. The remaining pieces from three previous releases will also be made available once again.

In our opinion, the hottest model in this new series will probably be the 1969 LeMans version of most famous Ford GT-40 in racing history, Chassis 1075. Chassis 1075 won the 24 Hours of LeMans in both 1968 and 1969 as part of the Gulf Racing / JW Engineering team.

The original Creative Masters series produced 1075 in it's 1968 LeMans winning livery and this model is highly sought after today, bringing $500 to $700 on the secondary market. The 1969 LeMans version will be produced as part of this new series and with a retail price of $129.95, 3000 pieces should disappear quickly.
