1/18 Scale - Mercedes Benz W196
The pictures tell the story with this
amazing 1/18 replica of the World Championship winning Mercedes
Benz W196. A removable bonnet reveals fantastic engine detail,
the cockpit is well appointed and the undercarriage detail is

Each model is hand assembled from
more than 140 pieces.
The model features stainless steel
mesh radiator and air inlet screens and a detailed cockpit with
cloth covered seat.
Each body is hand polished.
And features high detailed wire
wheels.
The underside detail is nothing
less than spectacular.
The W196's massive drum brakes are
shown here, along with the exhaust system from it's Straight-8,
2496cc engine.
Note the detail in the drive shaft
and universal joints and the swing-axle rear suspension.
The W196 featured smaller, inboard
disc braks in the rear.
