1/18 Scale AUTO ART MILLENIUM
JAGUAR XJ 13
Jaguar's first and only rear engined car was built
to compete at LeMans in the mid - 1960's but was never raced due
to corporate concerns. It was powered by a 4 cam 5 liter V12,
giving it a top speed of over 175 mph in 'unofficial' testing
by Jaguar development engineers - against the orders of Jaguar
head Sir William Lyons.
The original XJ13 crashed heavily while
testing in 1971, was rebuilt and resides in the Jaguar Museum.
Auto Art Millenium has crafted this
magnificent 1/18 scale replica of the XJ 13, featuring a fully
detailed engine and cockpit, removable panels and opening doors,
fuel filler and battery compartments.
