GMP
We're very pleased to announce that
TMC will soon be offering the entire range of models from GMP/Peachstate.
We were initially attracted to this company because of a new line
of Lola T-70 coupes and roadsters due to begin early next year
but their fantastic new 1/12 scale Vintage Dirt Champ Car series,
also due to begin in early 2000, were the most impressive new
die casts seen at the Chicago Hobby show.
Watch the GMP/Peachstate
section of our website or our Recent Additions
page for the latest price and release information.
The first release in the Vintage Dirt
Champ Car series is this fantastic Al Unser 'Johnny Lightning
Special' due in early 2000. We are now accepting advance orders
at $299.95.

Dirt Champ Car.
The second release in the series: AJ
Foyt's Bowes Seal Fast car, due in September 2000.
We'll accept pre-orders for this one
as well. Stop drooling!
We'll be adding the entire range of
GMP models to the website shortly.

Special Dirt Champ Car. Release date TBA.
As we said, we were initially attracted
to GMP for their series of Lola T-70 USRRC/CanAm and Coupes. Here
are a few shots of a prototype of the first release in the series;
the Dan Gurney Bardahl Special as raced in 1966.
We are told the Gurney car will be
released in January 2000 with a retail price of $74.95. Orders
now being accepted.
The other two releases in this series
are the Sunoco Special Lola T-70 roadsters and coupes entered
by Penske Racing and driven by Mark Donohue.
The roadster version is slated for
an April '00 release. We don't know for sure whether the driver
figures will be optional. We'll pass along information as soon
as we have it.
The 1969 Penske Racing Sunoco Special
T-70 Coupe is due in July, also priced at $74.95
Also of interest to TMC customers will
be GMP's line of Trans Am Mustangs and Camaros. The first three
releases are shown here; the #11 Scott Pruett Motorcraft IMSA
Mustang (December 99), Ron Fellows's Sunoco Camaro (June 00) and
Dorsey Shroeder's Whistler Mustang (March 00). This series is
also priced at $74.95 per car. Advance orders accepted, of course.
