2001 National Model and Hobby Show

Hello model fans, the hobby show report
is a little overdue, but with all the events in the world, I hope
you will excuse me.
The show this year was rather interesting,
many items were displayed and many more were announced.
This will be a highlights page with
some of the more interesting items featured. With no further ado,
lets get to the photography.
GMP
GMP has some very exciting new items
coming down the pike. Most of you already know about the Ford
Mark IV,
but there are other exciting things
to look forward to.

Carousel 1
Carousel is enticing us with another
large list of new releases, most exciting of which is the
1967 Spa winning AAR Eagle of Dan Gurney (expected
in time for Christmas 2002 - we hope). They will then back this
up with a series of Indy Eagles and A.J. Foyt Coyotes of 1967
and 1977! Carousel 1 is also breaking into 1/43rd scale with the
introduction of the Marmon Wasp that won the first Indianapolis
500 in 1911! The release list is long, but I'll add it here just
for fun.
