GMP's 1/18 scale Bruce McLaren /
McLaren M8A (seen on the photo here) will ship later this month.
It is the first of three McLaren Can Am cars announced so far
by the model maker but we expect official word on additional releases
soon.
Prototypes of the Denny Hulme M8A
and Dan Gurney M8B were also on display at Chicago, as was a yet
unannounced M8D.
The overall detail is fantastic
for a model priced well below $100. You'll see what we mean in
the photos below.

The Denny Hulme M8A will ship early
next year.

The first M8B will be Dan Gurney's
car from the Michigan Can Am in 1969.
Since Team McLaren went undefeated
in the '69 Can Am, we hope to see Bruce & Denny M8B's sometime
in the future.
Note the M8D tail section in the
upper left portion of this photo.
A closer look at that shot reveals
the high detail GMP has engineered into the engine compartment.
