12/30/2004 UPDATE: Autocourse 2004/05 has just arrived. We hope to get all the pre-orders to UPS this afternoon, since they're not doing pickups on New Year's Eve. If you plan on picking up your copy ($54.95), please do so after 2pm today.
We'll be open our regular 10am-6pm on New Year's Eve, but will be closed on Saturday, Jan 1.
We've acquired one of the 'sold out' 1/12 scale GMP McLaren/Donohue Ford Mk IV's from LeMans 67 (pictured above). It's offered at $499.95 plus shipping.
12/28/2004 UPDATE: As I mentioned last week, the latest MotorFilms Quarterly, Number 11, is now in stock ($39.95). The contents of this DVD are listed above and on our MFQ page. We were also pleased to hear that MFQ 1 thru 5 are now available in the US NTSC format.
We've been able to preview segments of some of these early releases and were quite impressed:
MFQ #1 features a Ford Motor Company film of the design, construction, testing and early races of the first Ford GT in 1964.
MFQ#2 covers the 1961 Belgian Grand Prix at Spa in living color, where America's First World Champion, Phil Hill leads a Ferrari Sharknose 1-2-3-4 finish on his way to the 1961 Title. (This is the race that inspired Graham Turner's painting and print 'American Champion'. Each copy is signed by Phil Hill.)
MFQ #5 contains a great Esso film of Jim Clark and his Lotus 25 in 1963, capped off with an 'in car' lap of Oulton Park with the World Champion and his trusty '25.

12/24/2004 UPDATE: Mark, Jeff and I want to wish all of our friends and customers a very Merry Christmas. We'll be open for business all next week, starting at 10am Monday and, as I mentioned the other day, we'll be updating the website with all the new arrivals we haven't mentioned on our Featured Items page. Some great new stuff arrived from Minichamps the other day. We'll have photos up Monday or Tuesday.
We'll also give you the latest information on new 'stuff' we expect to arrive in early 2005. Stuff like this:

Next week, we'll be spending a lot of time updating the website with the latest news and arrivals here at TMC. On the bright side, we're happy to announce that Motorfilms Quarterly has now converted their first 5 programs to NTSC (US) format. We have limited supplies on hand and will send copies to subscribers in early January ($39.95 each). MFQ 11 is now in stock priced at $39.95 plus shipping. We'll list the contents of all the new arrivals next week.
The 70s series of Formula One DVDs is now in stock. We only have a few sets remaining for Christmas delivery ($279.95) and most years (from 1970 to 1979) are available individually for $29.95 each. The 1980 DVD is expected shortly. You're going to want this series. The footage is fantastic and the quality is superb.
As you can see above, Blue & Orange by Michael Cotton ($69.95) is now in stock, along with many new and exciting books. We have both US and UK versions of Alex Zanardi's autobiography in stock. A few signed copies of Tom Schultz's 'Road America: Celebrating 50 years of Road Racing' are still available ($49.95) along with nearly all of our most popular titles. ('Masten Gregory' by Michael Cox is out of print. We're hoping for a second printing later this winter).
The 2004 LeMans Yearbooks may arrive before the end of the year. Reserve now at $29.95. The price will be going up shortly.
Autocourse 2004/05 has been delayed until after Christmas. Only a few copies from our first shipment remain ($54.95). We hope to ship all orders by the new year, but......
A significant shipment of new models from Minichamps is scheduled to arrive tomorrow (Wednesday). We can't tell you what's in it (because they haven't sent us a manifest) but if you're a Minichamps collector and in the 'neighborhood', it may be worth a visit.
The Indy 500 Legacy Series and Rendezvous DVDs are all in stock. In other words, we won't disappoint you procrastinators out there if you're still looking for that perfect gift for yourself, or another racing enthusiast.
On the dark side, word reached us yesterday that Stu Povick, creator of those great little race car sculptures, was in a motorcycle accident last week and is in critical condition. He remains in an induced coma, and faces a long recovery. We've doubled the prices on all of Stu's in - stock pieces with all proceeds going to him to help in a small way with his medical bills.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Stu and his family during a difficult holiday season.
12/16/2004 UPDATE: Sorry for the lack of updates this week, but we've been working non-stop to fill all of your orders and get them to you by Christmas. We've had new 'stuff' arrive every day this week. Most of it is outlined on our Featured Products page. There are a few late arrivals this year, but nearly everything important will be shipped by Friday afternoon.
We do not expect to receive our shipment of Autocourse F1 annuals in time to get them to you by Christmas. Sorry, but we tried but it was completely out of our hands this year. We're shooting for New Year's delivery, if they get here in time.
Best bargain of the Holiday Season is the 5 disc Indianapolis 500 Legacy DVD Series. There's a lot of history there for just $39.95. Both US and UK versions of the Alex Zanardi biography are in stock. Your choice: $34.95 UK Hardbound or $17.95 US Softbound. Hottest seller of the season (outside of the Zanardi book) is our Cobra Ferrari Wars DVD set for $39.95. An emergency restock just arrived from across the pond, so we have plenty on hand for last minute gifts.

SOLD - It's always a good day when we receive a package from Stu Povick. His latest clay 'folk art' sculpture is entitled 'Big Daddy' and honors the great Don Garlits. If you saw Dave Despain's final Wind Tunnel broadcast for 2004, you may have noticed that one of Stu's pieces has joined the array of memorabilia on Dave's desk.
