Two new Fly Slot Cars arrived today: The Team Gunston Porsche 917K as driven by Dickie Attwood and John Love at Kyalami in 1971 and the Panoz LMP-1 driven by Mario Andretti, Jan Magnussen and David Brabham at LeMans this year.
We also received the latest MRRC release, a
white 427 Cobra. Be
advised, MRRC cars have been disappearing quickly of late.
2.27.00 Update: Here are the photos of the 1/24
scale Carrera slot cars that arrived yesterday. I'll post
photos of the 1/32 scale cars tomorrow. We have the 1/24 scale
Avus set from Carrera in stock for $249.95. It contains
the stunning pair of Mercedes and Auto Union streamliners pictured
above. They're also available separately for just $39.95
each.
12.26.00 Update: We're unpacking more 1/24 and 1/32 scale slot cars from Carrera this morning. I'll upload some photos later today if I have the time. We'll be open our regular hours through the week.

12.22.00 Update: So what if the wind chill factor is -50!! Time to get out there and power shop!! We'll be open until at least 6pm this evening. I've just reviewed our Holiday Gift Guide, and everything listed in-stock IS in stock as I write this at 9:39am.

program (well, at least some of it anyway).
12.21.00 Update: The 2000 Formula One Season Review Video is back in stock. We can arrange Saturday UPS delivery for you procrastinators.
For those of you in the Chicago area, we'll be open Friday from 9am-6pm (maybe a bit later if conditions warrant), Saturday from 9am-5pm (same conditions apply) and Sunday from 10am-2pm (I'm outta here at 2:01).
Many items are in short supply, so stop by

12.20.00 Update: Some deadlines to think about if you need that last minute Christmas gift: We can ship any in-stock item anywhere in the US in time for Christmas, but your options narrow as the clock ticks. Our deadline for UPS Second Day Air is 3pm CST today. Overnights can be handled until 3:30pm CST tomorrow (Thursday). If you require Saturday delivery, we'll make arrangements as needed.
For those of you in the Chicago area who are worried about the weather, give us a call at 630.515.1440 and we'll be happy to send everything to your door in plenty of time for the Big Day.
We will be open Sunday, Christmas Eve from 10am to 2pm for last minute, panic shopping.
12.18.00 Update: I can start breathing again! 'Return to America' has arrived from Michael Turner in England. All US advance orders were shipped today. A few copies are still available for Christmas delivery. Local customers can brave the snow, or call to have their copies shipped as well.

12.13.00 Update: Our parking lot has been plowed and the sidewalks are clear, at least until it starts snowing again this afternoon. We added a couple of new slot car arrivals to the Holiday Gift Guide late in the afternoon yesterday if you're looking for some indoor entertainment (now that the Election MIGHT just be behind us).

12.12.00 Update: What a beautiful morning! Chicago got about a foot of snow yesterday, but this morning there isn't a cloud in the sky and the temperature is a crisp 4 above zero (farenheit, for those of you outside the US) with very little wind.
BUT, since they haven't plowed our parking lot, it's probably a good idea to use our Holiday Gift Guide instead of making the trip out here today. But if you're itching to test out your 4-wheel drive (like I was) this morning, we'll be open until 6pm.
I'll be posting updates throughout the day, starting off with the final version of our new print, 'Return to America'. Michael Turner emailed the final image this morning. Delivery of the prints is expected within the week, just in time for Christmas!
