11/23/2004 UPDATE: Did everyone stay up and watch 'Grand Prix' last night?

11/19/2004 UPDATE: The question asked most frequently by our customers is; "Do you have Grand Prix on DVD?" Don't get excited, we still don't have good news on that front, but Monday night, November 22, at 10:30 Eastern Time (9:30 here in Chicago) we'll have the next best thing. Turner Classic Movies will screen the classic racing film as part of a John Frankenheimer tribute taking place on the channel this month.
Regarding the status of 'Grand Prix' on DVD, our reps tell us that the VHS version of the film is now in 'moratorium' (out of production). He says that usually they cease production of the tape before releasing a older film on DVD. So cross your fingers for 2005. We'll keep you advised.

11/16/2004 UPDATE: GMP's third 1/12 scale Corvette C5-R is the LeMans Blue car #50 driven by Andy Pilgrim, Kelly Collins and Oliver Gavin at LeMans in 2003, the 50th Anniversary year for the Chevrolet Corvette. Only 500 of these replicas will be built and we're getting a 'last call' for reservations from GMP, indicating that the edition is nearly 80% sold. We're accepting reservations and will include a free copy of the 2003 LeMans Review DVD with each order recived between today and Thanksgiving. $599.95 plus shipping.
We received a price correction on the 2004 FIA Formula One Review this morning. The DVD will sell for $34.95 plus shipping.
11/15/2004 UPDATE: Artist Colin Carter has sent us a new hi res scan of his latest painting 'Sir Jackie' that is much more accurate than the jpeg we originally posted on the site. It's now a true 'Tyrrell Blue' Check it out!

If you purchased the Rendezvous DVD ($27.95)and saw the trailer for 'The Cobra Ferrari Wars' we're pleased to announce that the BBC documentary will be released in a double DVD set later this month. The Grand Prix Collection consists of 11 Formula One 'season reviews' from 1970 thru 1980 with original film footage from the library of Brunswick Films in England. The Collection can be purchased one DVD at a time ($29.95) or in a 10 disc set covering the 1970's ($279.95).
11/8/2004 UPDATE: Contrary to a rumor that's going around, the Autocourse 2004/05 Formula One annual WILL be available (hopefully in time for Christmas, as usual) again this year. $54.95 plus shipping. However, there will not be an Autocourse Champ Car annual this year - just a calendar ($14.99). We'll be shipping them along with the Autocourse Grand Prix calendars later this month ($14.99). An Autocourse Indy 500 Annual will be published next year.
Greenlight will release a 1/18 scale Buddy Rice Indy 500 winner later this year. Reserve now ($44.95).
11/5/2004 UPDATE: If Bernie approves the cover art, we expect release of the Official 2004 FIA Formula One Review on DVD later this month ($34.95 no VHS version this year). We say 'December Release' in the banner above just in case he doesn't.
Last Call? We understand that across the pond, all F1 Review Videos from 1993 thru 2001 are being pulled off the market as distribution contracts have expired. Usually, the US contracts are signed just a few weeks after the UK / European versions. We can't confirm that this will be the case here, but this may be your last chance to acquire these programs. Less than 100 of these beauties remain (out of 2,000!) and with Christmas around the corner, I don't think they will be available much longer.
