11/30/03 UPDATE: We were finally able to upload the photos and information on our recently acquired collection of nearly 100 international racing event posters. There are some very interesting posters in this collection. Take a look! Start HERE.

11/28/03 UPDATE: Michael Turner's annual set of Formula One Christmas Cards have arrived. They feature Michael Schumacher at Indianapolis, Juan Pablo Montoya at Monaco, Kimi Raikkonen at Sepang, Fernando Alonso at the Hungaroring and Rubens Barrichello at Silverstone. The set of 5 cards, bearing the greeting 'With best wishes for Christmas and the New Year' is $10.00 plus shipping. Cards without greetings are available by special request.
Our restock of the 1/18 Minichamps Porsche 906LE 'Longtail' that took class and index prizes at LeMans in 1966 has arrived ($79.95). Back orders ship today and we have a few extra cars for the Holidays.
11/26/03 UPDATE: The latest 1/43 Minichamps Chaparral should arrive at TMC in early December. It's the John Surtees driven Can Am 2H as it appeared at Laguna Seca in 1969. Surtees still shudders when you ask him about this car. At Laguna, a giant wing was attached to the chassis just behind the cockpit. It didn't help much. As with the other 2D and 2H models from Minichamps, this one comes in a Presentation box and is priced at $64.95. Click on the photo for the full image.

11/24/03 UPDATE: New Ford and Chevy items today: Larry Edsall's long awaited 'Ford Racing Century' features a phenomenal selection of photos covering Ford's 100 year participation in the sport. A healthy selection of '60's photos makes the book a must for us old timers ($39.95). GMP has released a 1/18 scale model of Jack Baldwin's Hot Wheels Camaro as campaigned in the 1994 Trans Am series ($99.95). Both items are in stock for immediate delivery.

11/20/03 UPDATE: We recently acquired a collection of more than 70 European event posters covering Formula One, Sports Car, Motorcycle, Formula 2 and Formula 3 races from Silverstone, Brands Hatch and several other European circuits. The posters will be uploaded to the website by race type, as seen above. We've uploaded the Formula One and Sports Car posters and will add the other sections over the next week or so.
11/19/03 UPDATE: Our 2003 Holiday Newsletter is now available on-line for you to download and print out in full color. Click HERE or the above image to download the PDF File. It's a great way to get a head start on your Christmas 'Wish List'. The 'actual' Newsletter is at the printer and will be in the mail (in black and white) right after Thanksgiving. Due to the cost of postage, we'll only be sending the Newsletter to US customers who have made a purchase within the past year.
Our Holiday Gift Guide will make it's debut early next week and will include items from the Newsletter along with new arrivals and special offers. We'll also be expanding our Gallery Hours to include Sundays and select evenings during December. All indications point to the busiest Christmas season in several years, so we strongly recommend you get your orders in as early as possible, especially for art prints.

11/14/03 UPDATE: It's getting to be about that time again. The annual reviews, both in print and on video, are on their way. We hope to have the 2003 LeMans Review DVD ($29.95) and the 2003 Isle of Man TT ($34.95) in stock by early December. Looks like they will be available in DVD only this year, no VHS versions are planned. As usual, this year's FIA Formula One Review is still in negotiations, but it looks like it will (finally) be available on DVD as well. The DVD will probably be released first, with a VHS version available later. No specifics yet, but we'll take orders for everything and cross our fingers.
As usual, we will be flying an early shipment of Autocourse 2003/04 in from the UK for Christmas delivery. Reserve now at $54.95 plus shipping. The Autocourse CART Yearbook (a collector's item?) will not be here until after the first of the year. An Autocourse Indianapolis 500 / IRL Yearbook will be available for the first time this year. Both will be priced at $39.95 plus shipping.
As we mentioned yesterday, Carousel 1 continues to lead the way with exciting new 1/18 scale open wheel releases. The 1967 Indy 500 winning Coyote of A.J. Foyt should be here by mid-week ($129.95). We still have a few cars available from our first shipment.

Dan has stopped signing models, so this is a rare opportunity to acquire this terrific model of the 1966 Bridgehampton Can Am winner - Ford's first and only Can Am win.

11/8/03 UPDATE: After his victory at Valencia last weekend, 3 time MotoGP World Champion Valentino Rossi announced he would be leaving Honda for Yamaha in 2004. This week, Minichamps announced a commemorative Limited Edition 1/12 scale model of Rossi's Repsol Honda in the 'special decoration' paint scheme from his last race (and final victory) for Honda at Valencia. Scheduled for mid-2004 release, you can reserve one now for $59.95 plus shipping.

11/7/03 UPDATE: Word from David Bull Publishing is that their eagerly awaited new book 'Ferrari Formula 1' by Peter Wright has been delayed until mid- December. We're still taking orders, but Christmas delivery will be tricky.
We'll be posting photo sets on our New Die Cast Arrivals page all day today. Some of the highlights are Minichamps's new 1/18 scale 1966 Targa Florio winning Porsche 906 'short tail' ($79.95) and the 1/43 scale Williams FW25 of Juan Pablo Montoya ($34.95).
One of the most interesting new arrivals is this 1/18 scale replica of the So-Cal Belly Tank Lakester that ran at Bonneville in the early 1950's (sold out). Constructed out of an Army Air Force surplus belly tanker from a P-38 Lightning, it is an early example of the ingenuity of post-war hot rodders. And it's a great model! 11/3/03 UPDATE: Hopefully, tomorrow we can start updating you as to what has arrived since the Carousel 1 Eagles. Needless to say, this is probably the most popular new model of the year so far, and we've been working hard to get your cars out to you. Being shorthanded hasn't helped! We're looking for some part time Holiday help, if you're in the Downers Grove area and have a few free hours a day. Company discount included.
Anyway, three new DVD's arrived today: The original classic 'The Italian Job' starring Michael Caine ($19.99) and two 'Making Of' videos for the movies Grand Prix and Bullitt ($9.99 each). The 'Making Of' videos aren't the greatest things we've ever seen, but they're probably worth ten bucks.
Every day, people ask us when Grand Prix will be released on DVD. There are lots of rumors out there, but trust us, when an actual release date is announced, we'll have the information here!
