10/29/03 UPDATE: Our initial shipment of Carousel 1 Dan Gurney 1967 Belgian Grand Prix winning Eagles has arrived. Pre orders will begin shipping today. Customers who usually pick up their models may do so during normal business hours (10-6 weekdays, 10-5 Saturday). Due to the sheer volume of orders, we probably won't start calling you until Friday or beyond.
TMC is offering an autographed display case to those of you who purchase this model from TMC. There are several options, beginning with a mirrored acrylic lid for use with Carousel 1's 'stock' base (above). Check out everything HERE.
We'll begin shipping cases to those of you who have not specified color (oak or asphault - seen below) on Friday or Monday.
The car looks spectacular on any base. We'll post additional photos of the Eagle soon.
Few cars remain from our first shipment. Reserve your's today ($129.95 plus shipping).

10/25/03 UPDATE: Word is, our shipment of Dan Gurney Spa Eagles from Carousel 1 ($129.95) will land around mid-week. For those of you who ordered Dan Gurney autographed display cases ($50.00 with the purchase of the Spa Eagle), please note that these will be shipped separately to avoid breakage. We'll be posting photos of the two display case choices (oak or asphault) as soon as we have a car to show them on. If you haven't specified a choice by mid-week, we'll send what we think looks best with the car. The Gurney signature plaques are here (along with some great autographed photos and other items that we'll be posting to the Memorabilia Section soon), and will also be available with the purchase of a Carousel 1 lid for your Eagle ($35.00 total), if you prefer to display your car that way.
We'll also be offering copies of Tim Considine's now out of print 'American Grand Prix Racing' at a special price to buyers of the Eagle. Stay tuned, it's going to be a busy week.

10/22/03 UPDATE: Since Carousel 1 has had a tendancy to change the size (by 1/8 or a 1/4 inch) of the bases and packaging of their cars with every new series, we rushed a base from the first Lotus 38 to our display case builder to make sure we had the right cover for your new model. They're now in stock for $18.00 plus shipping.

This classic coffee table book showcases the sacred chambers of some of the most famous and prolific car collectors in the US, including Jay Leno, Bruce Meyer and Brock Yates. If you collect anything related to cars and automobilia, you will enjoy this book!
We are now accepting pre-orders for the 2003 LeMans Yearbook. We think so, so get your orders in ASAP!

Lots of us are excited about the rollout of the new Ford Mustang next year. Beanstalk, a Ford subsidiary has followed up their popular series of Ford GT Concept cars (all 4 colors in stock for $29.95 each at TMC, by the way) with 2 versions of the new Mustang GT Concept, the red convertible and a stunning silver fastback coupe with what looks to be a T- top or clear top feature . Both Mustang GT Concepts are priced at $29.95 each and will have to do until the real thing arrives for 2005.
A full photo set has been posted on the New Die Cast page.
10/11/03 UPDATE: Over the next few weeks, we'll be telling you about the exciting crop of new books expected to arrive by year end ( a few of which are featured above). Here's one we're really looking forward to:
For the past four years, Ferrari and Michael Schumacher have dominated Formula One like no combination in racing history. The cornerstone of that success was the Ferrari F1-2000 in which Michael scored his first World Championship for the Prancing Horse in 2000. Peter Wright and David Bull Publishing were allowed full access to the principals of Scuderia Ferrari and have published an unprecidented, detailed analysis of this magnificent machine. Scheduled for release in November, we are now accepting advance orders ($89.95 plus shipping). Click HERE or the banner above for details.

10/7/03 UPDATE: The Jim Clark Lotus 38 from Carousel 1 is here. All pre-orders will ship this week. Please note, the Gallery will close at 3pm today.

10/6/03 UPDATE: Michael Oliver's eagerly awaited epic on the Lotus 72 is now in stock ($69.95). Very impressive! This well illustrated, large format, 234 page book gives an in-depth, race-by-race history of each individual Lotus 72 chassis and the men who designed and drove them. A must have.
If you were a fan of Grand Prix racing in the 70's this is going to be a very good fall indeed. In addition to the Lotus 72 book, we expect the arrival of a new biography of Ronnie Peterson in a few weeks and a restock of Rainer Schlegelmilch's latest photo book 'Formula One In Camera 1970-79'.
And lots more titles we'll be tell you about shortly.
The 2004 Autocourse Grand Prix and Champ Car calendars arrived today. $14.99 plus shipping.
Hopefully, the Clark Lotus will arrive tomorrow. Carousel 1's Gurney Eagle is next. Look for them in late October or Early November. Reserve early, this is bound to be the hottest new die cast this Christmas ($129.95 plus shipping).

10/2/03 UPDATE: As it gets a bit chilly outside and the racing season starts winding down, it's time to start thinking about one of our favorite off-season pasttimes: Slot Car Racing! Jeff will be uploading the latest arrivals from Scalextric and Fly over the next few days, but this one was too cool to wait. In 1966, Ford GT Mk II's finished 1-2-3 at LeMans and crossed the finish line in a (controversial) dead heat formation. Scalextric has recreated that 1-2-3 finish with a boxed set of Ford Mk II's in weathered 'post-race' finish. The limited edition of 10,000 is part of their Scalextric Sport series and was produced under license by the Ford Motor Company and the Goodwood Festival of Speed. In stock now for $149.95 plus shipping.
Our Out of Print
Autocourse selection has changed quite a bit in the past week.
Our latest inventory is posted HERE.

10/1/03 UPDATE: Catching up after a long weekend at Indy:
The reprint of Eric Dymock's excellent biography of Jim Clark is now in stock in both hardbound ($34.95) and softbound ($22.95) editions. A special section of previously unpublished images has been added to what is perhaps the finest book yet written on the World Champion and Indy 500 winner. And the new version is priced well below the now out of print first edition. A must have for any racing historian's library.
The first production run of Kyosho's NART Ferrari is nearly sold out already. Don't wait on this one! - SOLD OUT
Demand for Alan Fearnley's new Juan Pablo Montoya print 'Columbian Magic' is also quite high and will probably sell out before the Holidays. We have few copies remaining in our allotment.
McLaren F1 Collectors: The 1/43 scale Minichamps Team Hitosuyama 'Yellow Corn' longtail is now in stock ($44.95).
