8/31/00 Update: A quick update before the truck pulls out for Lime Rock and Watkins Glen:
Carousel 1's second in a series of racing Corvettes is here. It's the L88 driven by John Greenwod and Dick Smothers at Sebring in 1972. We'll have them in stock today for $129.95. I'll have a sample with me on the road. It's a stunner.

The first Panoz Roadster 1/32 scale slot car from Fly is here, along with another version of their beautiful Porsche 908 Flunder. The Panoz (A92 - $44.95) is the black #13 as driven by Graf/Konrad/Lammers in the 99 Petit LeMans and the Porsche (C46 - $44.95) is the L&M / Coca Cola sponsored car as driven in Buenos Aires (no time to look up the drivers, we'll do it when I return).

8/28/00 Update: The photo above is a pre-production prototype of GMP's forthcoming 1/18 scale McLaren M8A Can Am car. Release of the Number 4 Bruce McLaren version (shown) is scheduled for October (meaning it looks like THE Christmas gift this year) and the price is set at a modest $79.95 plus shipping. As you would expect, we are accepting orders.
GMP has just announced three additional Mark Donohue Penske race cars. They are the Camaros that dominated the Trans Am series in the late 1960's. 1967, 1968 and 1969 versions will be released, starting in the Summer of 2001. Looks like an $89.95 price tag. We'll post more information as it becomes available.
Some information on two new books this morning: Release of 'The Unfair Advantage' is now set for October. Mark Donohue's two sons have written additional chapters for this highly anticipated reprint, which will be available in both hard ($49.95) and soft ($24.95) cover versions.
And, the Greg Moore tribute book 'Greg Moore: A Legacy of Spirit' ($29.95) is scheduled for release in just a few weeks. Order now!
Our author-signed copies of 'Dan Gurney: The Ultimate Racer' by Karl Ludvigsen are sold out. Unsigned copies are now in stock at TMC at a lower than expected price of $39.95 plus shipping.
8/25/00 Update: A bit of GMP news this morning. A third 1/12 scale Dirt Championship car has been announced: It will be a Bobby Unser Barhahl Special. Release is set for May of 01, and the price remains unchanged from previous releases at $299.95. The second car in this series, the long sold-out A.J. Foyt Bowes Seal Fast Special, has undergone some revisions and is now set for delivery in late October.
The GMP Dan Gurney Lola T70 is now sold out. We have acquired additional stocks of the Mark Donohue Sunoco Special Lola, but don't put it off much longer. We'll have models with us at Lime Rock and Watkins Glen in early September, but I expect the entire run won't last through the month.
The #3 Action Corvette C5-R in 1/18 scale is now sold out. We will have a few more of the #4 car available in about a week, but we must limit to one car per customer at the original price of $69.95. The 1/43 scale cars ($29.95) are running low as well.
We've added a couple of desireable 1/43 Minichamps Michael Schumacher Collection cars to our Hard To Find Die Cast page.

8/24/00 Update: It must be Panoz week. We expect delivery of the first two Auto Art 1/18 scale Panoz Experante GTR-1 Coupes by the weekend. They're priced at $59.95 each and are sure to go quickly.

Speaking of Auto Art (and I know we haven't spoken much about them lately), we have a new 1/18 Martini Porsche 917 in stock. As you can see by the photo on the right, it's a beauty.

We've also received a few other new Minichamps F1 cars; the 2000 Prost Peugeots Showcars in 1/18 scale, and a selection of 1/43 scale Limited Edition pieces commissioned by their UK distributor to honor Damon Hill.
8/23/00 Update: We've uploaded a nice selection of 1/ 43 scale Onyx and Vitesse Porsche LeMans, Porsche 911 Cup and Panoz models this afternoon. All are quite impressive at $26.95 each, especially the brace of Panoz LMP-1 Roadsters and the Canadian Porsche Dealers 962C. A busy week! It looks like the Corvette C5-R's from Action (see photo below) will sell out before we get a chance to post a photo set. They were produced in rather small numbers and demand has been extraordinary. We're down to our last few cars. Order today or you may miss them.
The 1/18 scale Greenwood Corvette from Carousel 1 ($129.95) is expected to arrive in about a week and we understand Exoto will begin shipping the 'driverless' Jody Scheckter Ferrari 312T4 (at long last) within the week. Order now at $169.95.

8/16/00 Update: Getting ready for Elkhart Lake. We will have the new 1/43 scale Onyx Panoz Roadsters at Elkhart, along with a selection of new 1/43 Onyx sports racers and the new Action Corvette C5-R GTO racers from Daytona- in both 1/18 and 1/43. We'll also unveil a fantastic new line of 1/18 cast pewter racing engines, including a premier version fitted with a sound chip. You've got to see and hear it to believe it! 8/15/00 Update: At first, we were afraid our latest shipment of 1/18 and 1/43 Minichamps BAR cars was on the Concorde, but we received confirmation this morning that they are safely on the way at long last. Sorry for any inconvenience to those of you who had them on pre order, but you should see it from OUR side. The models are absolutely stunning, but have wasted more of our time in the past year and a half than anything I can remember. We hope to have the 'blue' Presentation BAR cars sometime in the next couple of weeks/months/years. Watch for details on this page.

Another new arrival from GMP is the Parnelli Jones Willard Battery Special, the third release in the 1/18 scale Dirt Championship Car series. Again, advance orders have been shipped, locals should pick their's up asap, and additional stock is expected shortly. Both previous releases in the series sold out in a matter of weeks. We also have the Limited Edition 1/43 scale Minichamps 2000 Minardi Showcars of Gene (1,800 produced) and Mazzacane (1.368 produced). They are priced at $34.95 each. We'll get photos of these cars up before we leave for Mid Ohio.
