7/29/05 UPDATE: Welcome to all the new enthusiasts from around the world who found our site after signng the Petition on our www.PutGrandPrixOnDVD.com website or who saw the exciting clip of '50 Years of Formula One On Board' on Speed Channel last weekend. I hope you'll visit us often to take advantage of our wide selection of high quality books, video, die cast and racing artwork and our personal service. If you don't see something you've been looking for, give us a call.
As you can see above, we've added several great new books to our selection. Most are not available in the US right now, so get your orders in to avoid disappointment. The French language books by Hurel and others that we have added in the past year or so boast a great selection of original photos and have gotten high reviews from model builders, historic car collectors and racing historians. Try one!
Especially spectacular is 'Ferrari by Mailander' by Karl Ludvigsen, an elegant, slipcased masterpiece featuring 500 photographs from the period 1950 to 1955. If we named a 'book of the month', this would be it. A bargain at $125.00 plus shipping. In stock!
We understand CMC's 1/18 scale Maserati 250F is due to arrive in the next couple of weeks. We have a few slots open for cars from our initial shipment, but they're going to go fast. Don't be left behind. We've also posted further information on Motorfilms Quarterly #13 on the main MFQ page. Our first shipment should be heading our way very soon.23

7/22/05 UPDATE: Another package of goodies arrived from Stu Povick this week. A couple new pieces were grabbed up immediately, but we managed to save these long enough to snap a few photos and add them to Stu's Page. If you're interested, give us a call.
Some great new books arrived just in time to bring to Road America for last weekend's Vintage races. Unfortunately (or fortunately), nearly everything we brought was snapped up by the collectors at Elkhart. Two standouts were the new 'Stirling Moss Scrapbook 1955' and Karl Ludvigsen's 'Ferrari by Mailander.' The Moss book is a great bargain, priced at just $69.95. It's a large format 'scrapbook' filled with clippings and photos from one of the most memorable season's in Moss's illustrious career. We have another shipment on the way. Reserve your copy today. A signed limited edition will also be available as will a '1961 Moss Scrapbook' later this year. Inquire. 'Ferrari by Mailander' is a spectacular slipcased volume, filled with 500 black and white photographs of Ferrari's formative years 1950-1955. We have a couple copies in stock for $125.00 each.
Don't worry, we've got more of the 'sold out' titles on the way. I'll tell you about them shortly.
The good folks at Motorfilms Quarterly tell us that their latest release, MFQ #13, will be ready to ship shortly. Reserve your copy now for $39.95 plus shipping. We'll post the contents as soon as possible. We urge you to take a look at this great series of historic racing films.
A couple of years ago, we heard that an Enzo Ferrari biography had been filmed for Italian television. We are very pleased to see that it is now available (in English) on DVD here in the US. We've got them in stock, $29.95 plus shipping. There is some nudity, but don't worry it isn't the actor who plays Enzo.
GMP's third Lola T-70 Coupe is a replica of the Sid Taylor car that ran in European races and was driven by Denis Hulme to victory in the 1968 Player's Trophy race at Silverstone. Only 1,002 have been produced. In stock for $97.15 plus shipping.
'Danica-mania' swept up the first, 1500 piece 1/18 scale Green Light limited edition version of her 2005 Rahal Letterman Indycar in May, but the model incorrectly had white numbers painted on it (the numbers were actually yellow on Danica's racer). A second 'correct' run has been produced and is now in stock for $44.95. If you collect 1/64, we have a few of those for just $7.95 each.
Next week, more new stuff from Minichamps!

7/19/05 UPDATE: Back from the BRIC Historic Races at Road America over the weekend. We'll be adding some new book, die cast and DVD releases when we get finished unpacking. In the mean time, take note of the above banner. Everywhere we go, people ask if and when John Frankenheimer's epic racing film 'Grand Prix' will be available on DVD. Click the banner for the full story.

7/5/05 UPDATE: A recent addition to our inventory of original movie posters is this beautiful 1 sheet (27"x41") from the 1953 racing film 'Roar of the Crowd' starring Howard Duff. We aquired it in a few months ago and had it professionally restored and mounted on linen. Click the image for additional photos and information. Over the weekend, we updated our Hard to Find Die Cast page to reflect recent sales. We also added a hard to find 1/18 scale Ayrton Senna Williams FW16 with full Rothmans markings. SOLD |
