7/29/00 Update: We have a display in the Exhibition Area behind Turn One at the Target Grand Prix at Chicago Motor Speedway this weekend but the gallery will be open as usual from 10am to 5pm on Saturday.
GMP has formally announced an exciting new series of 1/12 scale Ford GT's in their Road Racing Collection. The first is scheduled for release in April 2001 and will be the 1966 LeMans winning Ford GT Mk2 driven by Bruce McLaren and Chris Amon. The Gurney-Foyt 1967 LeMans winning Ford Mk4 will follow about six months later and GMP will produce the legendary Ford GT 40 chassis 1075 in it's 1969 LeMans winning Gulf Wyer trim for release in 2002. Estimated retail price is just under $400.00 per car.

7/26/00 Update: The 1/43 Action
2000 CART Paul Tracy Reynard has arrived. It sports the special
Team Green paint job that 
we understand will appear on the car later this season.
The Tracy car arrives with a driver figure and has been produced
in a Limited Edition of 3,816. They're in stock now for $29.95.

While there, we hosted an autograph session for 1961 World Champion Phil Hill. Phil signed a few additional items for us in a private session later in the weeked. We'll be listing those items here after we unpack.

7/20/00 Update: Author signed copies of the new Karl Ludvigsen book on Dan Gurney arrived from the UK this morning. $49.95 plus shipping while they last. We're leaving for Elkhart Lake this afternoon. The Gallery will be open the usual 9-6 today and tomorrow, but we will be closed on Saturday. 7/19/00 Update: Action has just announced a 1/18 scale Juan Montoya Target Team Ganassi Indianapolis 500 Winning G-Force Aurora to be produced in a Limited Edition of 2,3.04 and released in August. 7/14/00 Update: The 1965 Times Grand Prix video ships today! Copies are now available at TMC for $24.95 plus shipping.
As promised, here are photos of the other two new arrivals in Action's 1/18 2000 IRL Collection. Both the Greg Ray and Scott Goodyear Dallaras are available in Limited Editions of 2,304 for $79.95 each. All three releases are quite impressive and much improved over Action's 1999 CART Collection. Edition sizes are smaller as well. Take a look!

7/13/00 Update: Coming at you! Action's first 1/18 scale 'Collector' quality IRL car is here. It is a beautifully done G-Force in Al Unser Jr.'s Galles Racing / Tickets.com livery that won at Las Vegas earlier this year. It is NOT the same model that was sold at the Speedway in May. It features the same quality as Action's CART models, including two removable panels and a nicely detailed engine compartment and front suspension. Greg Ray and Scott Goodyear versions just arrived as well. We'll post photos by the weekend. $79.95 each. More Al Jr. photos HERE.
The car on the right is the latest Porsche 917-K slot car from Fly. It is the Marko / van Lennep Martini car as raced at Monza in 1971. Just $44.95. More photos HERE.
Finally, as seen in the photo at the top of the page, we now have a small quantity of 1/64 Hot Wheels TransAm cars in stock. They're a bit higher priced than 'normal' Hot Wheels ($22.95), but the quality is quite nice and hard core Gurney and Parnelli fans will have to have them. Photos HERE.

7/11/00 Update: An update on two TMC projects we told you about in the spring:
- Our new limited edition print of the Meister Brauser Scarab has arrived from Michael Turner in England. Augie Pabst signed a few copies between the raindrops at Road America last weekend, but the edition of 200 will be formally released at the 'BRIC' Historic Races at Elkhart later this month. Those of you with advance orders will be shipped 'low numbered' copies in about two weeks. 7/3/00 Update: Well, they're here. The Jacques Villeneuve 99 BAR 'Zipper' car is now in stock at TMC. Advance orders will ship by the end of the week. If you're 'local', you'll get a phone call after the Fourth, but you can come in and pick up your model Wednesday.
The new selection from Art Model we told you about a couple of weeks ago is also here, including a very limited Ferrari 166 MM Coupe diorama, only 200 produced. We also received a few more JFK Lincoln Limos ($69.95). These should be our last ones, so don't put it off much longer.
