6/29/2004 UPDATE: Home for a couple of weeks before the Brian Redman International Challenge at Road America. We did 5 out-of-state Road Shows over the past 6 weekends and it's good to be home for a while. We'll try to update you a bit more frequently than we have the past 6 weeks. Lots of new stuff in the works.

GMP has just shipped us this beautiful 1/18 scale Ron Fellows AER Camaro as campaigned in the 1995 Trans Am Championship ($99.95). Fellows won 5 of 11 races, helping Chevrolet clinch its record setting 14th Trans Am Manufacturer's title. Only 1,000 pieces are available.

A full photo set can be found on the New Die Cast page.

6/23/2004 UPDATE: Not enough time to post full photo sets of GMP's beautiful new 1/24 scale 1969 Mercury Cyclones as we're leaving for the Mid Ohio ALMS race (see you there!) in a few minutes. Both Cale Yarborough (left-red trim) and Dan Gurney (right-blue trim) versions are in stock for $119.95 each. Click on the photos for a larger view. We'll post full sets when we return.

6/21/2004 EVENING UPDATE: We updated our Out of Print Autocourse page this afternoon. Many of you were asking about the Autocourse 1994/95 over the weekend at Indy. We do have one copy available. The 94 book has become increasingly hard to come by these days, mainly because it was Michael Schumacher's first World Championship season and also saw the untimely death of Ayrton Senna.

6/21/2004 UPDATE: Unpacking from a busy weekend at the US Grand Prix in Indianapolis. Thanks to all of you who visited our tent over the weekend. We plan on being in the same location next year and hope to see you again. Of course, we hope you'll visit our website on a regular basis and take advantage of our huge selection of quality books, videos, artwork and models throughout the the year.

Hey, we have to keep the lights on until next year's race!

Several items that sold out at Indy over the weekend are in stock here at our Downers Grove Gallery and can be shipped out to you today. Give us a call at 800.722.8630 or 630.515.1440. If you picked up a Colin Carter Giclee flier over the weekend, you can find additional information HERE.

Going to the ALMS race at Mid Ohio this weekend? Look for the TMC tent in the infield vendor area behind 'Madness'.

6/15/2004 UPDATE: Breathtaking. That's the only word to describe CMC's new Mercedes Benz W196R Streamliner in 1/18 scale. Our first shipment is here and the quality and detail of this model exceeds our already high expectations. It is a fact that every new release from CMC is better than the one before. There's not enough time to go into the different features of this piece, but a basic photo set is now available on the New Die Cast page. I'll post more photos after the USGP. We will have a few of these cars with us at Indy and a few will also be available at TMC in Downers Grove. Underpriced at $189.95.

6/14/2004 UPDATE: We're expecting the first shipment of 1/18 scale CMC Mercedes W196 Streamliners later this week. The first arrival will be the unmarked Prototype version, priced at $189.95 plus shipping. The first shipment of the Juan Manuel Fangio 1955 Italian GP version ($199.95) is expected to arrive in a few weeks. As expected, availability is going to be tight on this one. We have a few cars available from the this week's shipment, but a waiting list for the Fangio cars. If you want to change your reservation, we suggest you do it today or tomorrow.

If you are looking for Father's Day delivery on any TMC item, we strongly suggest you place your order before Wednesday. We're busy packing for the US Grand Prix at Indianapolis and can't guarantee delivery of any item after we leave for the race.

After Indy, the next stop on the TMC Road Show schedule is the ALMS event at Mid Ohio the weekend of June 25-27. See you there.

6/10/2004 EVENING UPDATE: Go to the New Die Cast page and scroll down for all the recent arrivals from Minichamps. More updates tomorrow!

6/10/2004 MID DAY UPDATE: Two new Autograph Presentations featuring legends of American racing are now available here at TMC. Left: A First Day Cover signed by Jim Hurtubise is framed with two 8 x 10 qualifying photos from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway ($350.00). Right: A postcard autographed by Lloyd Ruby is framed with two 8 x 10 qualifying photos from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway ($250.00). Both pieces custom framed using all acid free materials and identical powder gray mats with black metal moulding with a suble red stripe. Each is a 'one of a kind' piece.

More photos HERE.

IN STOCK: AGAINST DEATH and TIME by BROCK YATES..$24.95

SECURE ORDER FORM

6/10/2004 UPDATE: The latest book from Brock Yates, 'Against Time and Death', arrived a bit sooner than we thought and is now available for Father's Day gift giving. Just $24.95 plus shipping. Looks like a fascinating read!

We're expecting a shipment from Minichamps later today. We'll fill you in on what's in it along with the new Minichamps stuff that arrived while we were on the road. We'll also tell you about two new Autograph Presentations available at TMC. Stop back this afternoon.

6/9/2004 UPDATE: Over the next couple of days, we'll be uploading the great new items that arrived while we were on the road the past couple of weeks. Don't forget Father's Day is June 20, the day of the US Grand Prix at Indianapolis. We'll be leaving for Indy on Wednesday the 16th, so for the best selection, please order early or visit our display on Crawfordsville Road a block west of the Speedway.

Amongst the Die Cast highlights are the two 1/18 scale pieces pictured above. After 3 years of waiting, GMP has finally released the Number 6 Penske Racing Sunoco Camaro driven by Mark Donohue to the 1968 SCCA Trans Am Championship ($109.95). A VERY significant car in American road racing history. On the right is the 2003 CART Champion Paul Tracy's 'Farewell' paint job, released in a very small limited edition ($99.95).

As usual, you'll find full photo sets on the New Die Cast page.

We'll have lots more for you over the next couple of days. Watch for our 'Top Ten List of Father's Day Gifts' by the end of the day.

One of the items you'll find on the Top Ten List for Father's Day is 'Bobby Allison: A Racer's Racer', a book/CD combo that we had autographed by Bobby Allison at Watkins Glen last weekend. The leader of the Alabama Gang tells his favorite stories on this unique interview CD-book package. $39.95 plus shipping.

Two other books should arrive in time for our US Grand Prix display in Indianapolis, but we can't guarantee Father's Day delivery for mail order customers. They include Brock Yates's latest book 'Against Death and Time' which profiles the tragic 1955 racing season ($24.95). The other is the latest blockbuster from Rainier Schlegelmilch 'Formula 1: 1950 - Today', a 400 page full color coffee table photo book taking us from the beginning of the modern day World Championship thru the 2003 season. An absolute bargain (and must have) for just $39.95 plus shipping. Reserve now, or pick one up at Indy.

6/8/2004 UPDATE: Sorry for the lack of updates the past couple of weeks but we took the TMC Roadshow to Indianapolis, then Watkins Glen the past two weekends. We're back for about a week before we leave again for Indianapolis and the US Grand Prix on Father's Day weekend. We'll bring you up to speed very soon.

Lots of new stuff to tell you about. GMP has (finally) delivered the 1/18 scale Sunoco Camaro driven by Mark Donohue to the 1968 SCCA Trans Am Championship. We have them in stock ($109.95) and have shipped most of our pre-orders. 'Indy's Wildest Decade' by Alex Gabbard has also arrived ($39.95) along with the long awaited 'The Life of Senna' by Tom Rubython ($45.00).

There's more. Details beginning later today.

- PZ

IN STOCK: 'THE LAST VICTORY' by Colin Carter. Available as litho or canvas. Details HERE!

6/1/2004 UPDATE: Just back from Indianapolis. Leaving for Watkins Glen tomorrow, so it will be a quick turnaround. While we were away, the Chuck Yeager 'Glamorous Glen III' P-51 Mustang arrived from GMP ($149.95), along with a restock of 'Triumph and Tragedy' ($110.00) and the first shipment of Colin Carter's new Senna print, 'The Last Victory' ($150.00).

Speaking of Senna, our shipment of 'The Life of Senna' by Tom Rubython ($45.00) just arrived a few minutes ago. We'll begin processing orders shortly.
