5/27/2004 UPDATE: Since we're running a bit late leaving for Indy, we'll have Carousel 1's latest offering with us at the Memorabilia Show this weekend. It's the Dan Gurney Eagle Ford from the 1967 Indianapolis 500 ($129.95). Dan put the Wagner Lockheed Brake Fluid Special on the Front Row and was running second behind Parnelli Jones's STP Turbine when the fuel selector switch jammed, causing a long pit stop and eventual retirement due to burned valves. Dan's luck changed with victories at LeMans and the Belgian Grand Prix over the next month.
Carousel 1 has released this piece in a limited edition of just 1,200 models, so reserve yours asap. More photos on the New Die Cast page. See you at Indy!

5/13/2004 UPDATE: GMP has released their first version of the 1968 Trans Am Camaro, the Smokey Yunick built car that -perhaps - did not meet the letter of every SCCA regulation for the series ($109.95). Can you say 'acid dipped'? The model was built with the co-operation of the Yunick family and the current owner of the car, Vic Edelbrock and his team. Check out additional photos of this beautiful piece on our New Die Cast page. We hope to see a Mark Donohue Sunoco Penske version of the 68 Camaro later this summer. Reserve now.
