5/31/01 UPDATE: I'll start
uploading photos of the New Minichamps
arrivals this afternoon.
GMP has sent us production examples of the third release in their 1/12 scale Dirt Champ Car series (the Bobby Unser Bardahl Special) and the latest 1/18 scale Lola T-70 (the 1967 Mark Donohue Sunoco Special #6). Both are stunning. Delivery is expected in about 4 weeks. I'll have photos up later today.

5/29/01 UPDATE: Back from Indy and on of the most interesting 500's in a long time. I spent the day unpacking and answering your emails. The 'big shipment' from Minichamps is expected by the weekend.

5/24/01 UPDATE: I hope to see you this weekend at the Memorabilia Show in Indianapolis.
As we're packing up today, I've received confirmation of a fabulous shipment of models from Minichamps that should arrive by the time we return. Included in this shipment are some highly desireable pieces, including the 1/18 and 1/43 Presentation 2001 Saubers of Kimi Raikkonen, the 1/43 Presentation BMW Williams of Ralf Schumacher and Juan Pablo Montoya, the long-awaited 1/18 scale Gerhard Berger Benetton B186, the 1/43 scale Porsche 917/20 'Pink Pig', a restock of the 1/18 Nelson Piquet Brabham BT52 and the 1/43 Corvette C5-R driven by Dale Earnhardt in the 2001 Rolex 24. We've taken the 'One Per Customer' limitation off the Earnhardt Corvette for the time being, but have added it to a few other models. Order this weekend to avoid disappointment.

While we're away I'll try to monitor your email, but it's going to be a rather busy weekend. If you use our Secure Order Form to order anything from our New Minichamps List while we're away, I'll throw in a free gift.
In order to deliver the highest quality product possible, there have been some changes made to GMP's 1/12 scale Ford GT program. I'll give you the complete story when I return next week.

Lots of new 1/43 Minichamps due to arrive next week, including the LeMans winning Audis, the 2001 Williams Presentation Cars of Montoya and Schumacher, the Earnhardt Corvette and the Porsche 'Pink Pig'. We'll have complete info early next week. Advance orders accepted.
Another long lost Minichamps F1 model is about to be released, but not in the US. We'll tell you more when we have firm information. I'll give you a hint, it looks like THIS.

5/16/01 UPDATE: Wednesday has definately been an improvement.
We're shipping the CMC Auto Unions today. An absolute masterpiece!!! We're sold out, but you can reserve one from our next shipment. $139.95 plus shipping.
The Exoto Penske Grand Sport Roadster also arrived today. Absolutely stunning as well. We have a few cars still available at this time priced at $169.95.
The Billy Vukovich Sugaripe Prune Eagles ($169.95) are due later in the week.

Ducati we had sold out in a day or so. We've got a good supply
of this one, but don't push your luck.
5/14/01 UPDATE: I love Mondays. If you sent me an email this morning and didn't get an answer, please resend it. I'm starting to think our office is in the middle of the Bermuda Triangle.
The Carousel 1 Billy Vukovich Sugaripe Prune Eagle is on the way. We should be able to ship by early next week. We have a couple cars left from our first shipment, reserve now.

5/11/01 UPDATE: Good news for those of us waiting for CMC's 1/18 scale Auto Union. They're expected any day. We only have 1-2 cars left, and our next shipment isn't expected until fall. Call me this morning if you want one. -SOLD OUT

5/8/01 UPDATE: A shipment of new 1/43 scale sports cars from Minichamps arrived today, along with the 1/43 scale Australian GP Event Car. The sports cars include Limited Edition LeMans and Daytona Vipers and Corvette C5-R's, including this very cool Viper that ran at LeMans in 1999, released in a very exclusive edition of 1,344. All are listed on the New Release Die Cast page.
5/7/01 UPDATE: A bit of Minichamps news on a Monday morning: We've received a small quantity of a 'UK only' Jenson Button Benetton 'First Drive' Limited Edition 1/43's ($37.95), along with the Ricardo Zonta 2000 BAR ($34.95) race car and a VERY small quantity of Zonta 2000 BAR Showcars ($34.95). All are pictured on the New Release Die Cast page.

5/3/01 UPDATE: The 1/18 scale Exoto Jagermeister Porsche 934 and Maisto Audi R8 2000 LeMans Winner were among the new arrivals today, along with some of the last Minichamps 2000 Formula One cars.

The Jagermeister Porsche 934 RSR Turbo ($169.95) was the star of the show today, but our choice for 'Best $34.95 Model of Spring, 2001' goes to the Maisto Audi R8. WOW!!!!!
A few odds and ends to close out the day: We'll have the first of the 1/43 Minichamps 2001 Presentation Cars in a week or two, a very limited quantity of the Jenson Button 2001 Benetton, which we understand is a UK ONLY edition of 2000 or so ($34.95). We'll also have a few of the 1/43 Minichamps Australian GP event cars ($45.00).
The only 2000 Minichamps F1 cars left are the Ricardo Zonta BAR's in 1/18 and 1/43. Since they're not licensed for the US (and a major pain to deal with), we're only going to have a few available later this month. Regular price, reserve now.

5/1/01 UPDATE: Caught up with some photo sets of last week's New Die Cast Arrivals. It was an impressive week, to say the least. We've added new pages for two new 1/18 scale GMP pieces; the Denny Hulme 1968 Can Am Championship Winning McLaren M8A and the Bobby Marshman Econo Car Offenhauser Dirt Champ Car. GMP's definately got it together!
