12/29/09 UPDATE: Our 'NEW
DIECAST PAGE' has returned. As many of you have noticed, we
trimmed down our die cast offerings - especially in 1/43 - over
the past year or so. We hope to reverse that trend in 2010, so
we will again maintain a listing of each new miniature as it arrives
at TMC. Our Shopping Cart software doesn't lend itself well to
this sort of page so we're uploading a modified version of the
page that served us well for years. The 'prototype' page can be
found HERE.
12/24/09 UPDATE: I want to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and a healthy and prosperous New Year. I'd also like to thank you for your support in 2009, a very tough year. Even if you had to cut back your toy purchases this year, we're happy to have you around. Hopefully, things will rebound in 2010.
With Schumacher back, it looks like another interesting Formula One season, at least.
We'll take a couple days off to be with Family, then back to the business of bringing to you the best in motorsport artwork, books, video, models and other memorabilia.
I'll be here for a short time this Saturday, 11am (I'll need to sleep in a bit) to 2 pm. Back to regular hours on Monday (yes, we're open. Come on in with those Gift Cards!!!).

12/15/09 UPDATE: Good news, bad news time. If you subscribe to our Email Updates, you're already aware of the fact that there will be no Formula 1 Review DVD for the US market this year. However, we have been able to secure a small quantity of European (PAL) format versions of the 2 disc, 274 minute program which are now in stock. $37.95 plus shipping. Click HERE to order.
As we've said before, PAL discs
require a multi-format DVD player (such as our Philips DVP3980)
which are available at very reasonable prices ($79.95 or lower)
- but maybe not at your local Best Buy. Try Amazon.com. We currently
stock more than 30
PAL titles, with more on the way.
PAL DVDs may also play on your computer, but please check your equipment before ordering.

12/10/09 UPDATE: AUTOCOURSE CHRISTMAS DELIVERY: Our shipment of Autocourse 2009/10 is inbound from the UK and is expected to arrive Monday, December 14. We can reserve one of these rare early copies (TMC will have the only authorized pre-2010 copies in the US) for an additional $12 to cover FedEx shipping and customs charges. In return for this charge, we will offer a 10% discount off your first 2010 order (must be used by June 30, 2010). 11/29/09 UPDATE: As I mentioned in last week's Email Update, we are in the process of offering for sale an outstanding collection of motor sport art from some of the best known artists in the field. More than 100 pieces by Randy Owens, Alan Fearnley, Juan Carlos Ferrigno, Thierry Thompson, Gavin Macleod and others are now on display here at TMC and will be uploaded to the website over the next few days.
Most of these prints are signed by racing legends such as Ayrton Senna, Alain Prost, Mario Andretti, Nigel Mansell, Michael Schumacher, Michael Andretti, Paul Tracy, Bobby Rahal, Danny Sullivan Al Unser (Sr & Jr) and many, many others. This afternoon, the first of these images, a selection of 30 Original Serigraphs by Randy Owens, was uploaded to the Secondary Market section of our Shopping Cart.

TrueScale Miiniatures has announced a fourth release in their series of 1/18 scale Porsche 935 K3s, the Bob Akin Coca Cola #05 codriven with Bobby Rahal and Roy Woods at Daytona in 1980. It's set for a January 2010 release in a Limited Edition of 3000 cars. More photos HERE.
Starting next week, we will be offering a significant collection of 'sold out' Original Serigraphs by noted American motorsport artist Randy Owens along with a selection of Secondary Market prints from Alan Fearnley, Thierry Thompson, Ken Call, Gavin MacLeod and others. 11/13/09 UPDATE: Graham Turner's latest painting shows Stirling Moss
guiding his Vanwall to victory in the 1958 Dutch Grand Prix, in
a season that saw him also score wins in Portugal and at Casablanca.
Graham's painting is being released in a Limited Edition Giclee
with prints 1 thru 20 being reproduced on canvas and delivered
on wooden stretcher bars. Prints 21-100 will be printed on heavyweight
(300 gsm) acid free art paper.

11/2/09 UPDATE: TESTA ROSSA UPDATE: CMC is invoicing their dealer network for the three new Ferraris that will be arriving in a couple of weeks and it looks like the Testa Rossa may be in short supply for the Holidays. This year's theme is '1960's Sports Car Greats' and will feature a selection of black and white photographs from the LAT archives capturing the excitement and atmosphere of the great endurance duels between some of the greatest sports racing cars and drivers of all time. Many of the photographs are previously unpublished. As always, the photographs are suitable for framing. 10/13/09 UPDATE: A mere 3 1/2 years after they made the announcement, Minichamps has released the 1/18 scale Lotus 79s of Mario Andretti and Ronnie Peterson. Our initial shipment of Andrettis weren't enough to fill our existing advance orders. We're hunting for more.

Left: The latest painting from Colin Carter features this year's World Championship point leader Jenson Button (Braun BGP 001) in the Turkish Grand Prix, where he scored his sixth victory in the first seven races of the 2009 F1 season. This feat equalled the record previously set by motor racing legends Alberto Ascari, Juan Manuel Fangio, Jim Clark and Michael Schumacher.
