4/29/2004 UPDATE: Sorry for the lack of updates the last week or so. We put on a 'road show' display at the Porsche Rennsport Reunion II at Daytona last weekend and my return has been hampered by a bug of some sort picked up along the way. There are a few new things to tell you about:
- Authors Karl Ludvigsen and J.J. O'Malley were kind enough to sign a selection of books for us at Daytona. We'll post a title list later today.
- Robert Taylor's magnificent 'Doolittle's D-Day' is now in stock. Details on the Aviation Art page.
More later today.

4/18/2004 UPDATE: I had the great pleasure of attending the opening of the Chaparral Gallery at the Petroleum Museum in Midland, Texas this weekend. They have created a beautiful tribute to Jim Hall and his innovative Chaparral race cars that includes not just the race cars themselves, but several interactive displays explaining some of the innovative engineering and aerodynamic principles that made Chaparral race cars the envy of pit lane.
Among the atendees at Friday night's Gala honoring Jim and Sandy Hall were Chaparral drivers Phil Hill, Vic Elford, Ronnie Hissom and Gil de Ferran, along with fellow competitors Dan Gurney and John Mecom. I'll post a full set of photos after I return from the Porsche Rennsport at Daytona next weekend. In the mean time, visit www.chaparralgallery.org, the Museum's official website.

4/5/2004 UPDATE: Two great new pre-war themed 'Folk Art Sculptures' from Stu Povick have just arrived. Both the Alfa Romeo Tipo B / P3 and the Bugatti Type 35 are mounted on handsome mahogany bases and are priced at $125 each or $240 the pair. More photos to enjoy HERE.

We will honor the lower price on all advance orders.
Lots of new books have arrived in the past few days. Check them out in the table above.

4/2/2004 UPDATE: Back from a short break. Lots of new arrivals this week including the Carousel 1 Donohue Eagle and the 1/43 Minichamps 2003 Alonso Renault. Additional photos on the Die Cast New Arrival page.
The Donohue Eagle, seen above, was produced in a Limited Edition of 1,200 and most were pre-sold. SOLD OUT.
Among the new book arrivals (all will be listed on Monday) is The Bugatti Queen, a rather bawdy book about a rather bawdy stripper turned race driver in pre-war Europe ($27.95). R- Rated.
