4/24/02 UPDATE: The second of three 1/18 scale works McLaren M8B's from GMP is due any day. Dan Gurney drove this car to a third place finish - behind Bruce and (a very nervous) Denny - at the Michigan Can Am in 1969. Reserve now at $99.95 plus shipping.

4/22/02 UPDATE: We continue

As many of you already know, Carousel 1 intends to produce a 1/18 scale model of Dan Gurney's AAR Eagle Weslake V12 in the 1967 Belgian Grand Prix livery. The release date is uncertain at this time, but the subject matter will make this piece one of the most desireable models ever produced. TMC has begun taking reservations for the Spa Eagle at the issue price (listed as $119.95 -subject to change by the manufacturer). It's too early to speculate whether or not this piece will arrive in time for Christmas, but we hope to find one under our tree. Check out the full 2002 Carousel 1 line up HERE.

Our website facelift is underway and the first pages to get a 'touch up' feature our Road Racing Legends Series of Limited Editon prints. Two of the most popular prints in this Series are Michael Turner's 'Jim Clark: Indianapolis Champion' and 'Jim Clark: Perfect Score', published to commemorate Clark's amazing 1965 season when he won both the Indianapolis 500 and the World Driving Championship - a feat we will probably never see again.
A few copies of 'Perfect Score' are still available for $110.00 plus shipping but 'Indianapolis Champion' has been sold out for about 2 years now - but while doing a bit of house cleaning in our print files, we discovered three sets of our Jim Clark prints. They have matching numbers and are in new condition. We are making them available for $300.00 a set plus shipping.
4/17/02 UPDATE: Some additional information has been added to our GMP Spring 2002 Pre-Order page, including a photo of the AIR Lola T-70 Coupe expected in June. We expect the price to be under $90. Will confirm asap.

4/16/02 AFTERNOON UPDATE: Don't wait too long on this one. Ross Braun (Technical Director, Ferrari Gestione Sportiva) has just signed copies of 'Michael Schumacher Ferrari World Champion', part of a new 2 print set commissioned by Ferrari UK to commemorate Michael Schumacher and Ferrari's back to back World Championships in 2000 and 2001. This dynamic creation is the front of a four cylinder motorcycle engine, complete with exhaust pipes and spark plugs, molded in high density resin, then coated with a rich pewter finish. An interesting little book that was published in 2000 but never quite made it into the US is '50 Years of the Formula One World Championship - In The Words of Those Who Were There' by Geoff Tibballs. It's 240 pages are filled with short anecdotes and quotations (quite colorful in some cases) from the participants in the Formula One World Championship. We have a small quantity of these books later this week. First come first served at $29.95 plus shipping.

UPDATE: Carousel 1's highly anticipated
1/18 model of Bill Vukovich's 1953 Indianapolis 500 winning Kurtis
Kraft Roadster will arrive at TMC in the next day or so. Pre-orders
will ship by the weekend. Local customers will probably recieve
a phone call to pick their cars up starting on Saturday. Next
on the agenda for Carousel 1 is Jerry Grant's Mystery Eagle that
nearly won the 1972 Indianapolis 500. For information on this
