Hollywood Spring-Axil Special, pictured here. We anticipate the

Updated 4/14/00: There have been lots of panic filled emails floating around the past couple of days regarding the long awaited (ridiculously long awaited, in my opinion) Minichamps BAR Formula 1 cars.
We've avoided discussing the on again, off again games that have been played regarding both the 1999 Presentation and 1999 race race versions of the Villeneuve and Zonta cars the past couple of months because we're convinced that most of the people leading the charge to the rumor mill don't know what they're talking about.
In any case, an email distributed by a 'furrin' dealer this morning (the third contridictory email in two days from this company) claims that no US dealers would have these model.
Let me assure our customers with pre-orders that if and when Minichamps releases the BAR cars, we will have them.
That's all I wanted to say.

We've just added a page in our Die Cast section for the 1/43 scale LeMans Joest Porsche models by Trofeu. Two new pieces arrived this week.
Updated 4/12/00: We got a bit carried away with the photo set for Carousel 1's new L-88 Corvette. We've uploaded more than 30 photos of this spectacular new model. Unless you've got a DSL line, it will take a couple of minutes for the page to load.
When the page does load, you'll see why we got carried away. I'm not really a Corvette freak but the detail on this first 'closed wheel' model from Carousel 1 absolutely blew me away. It features a fully detailed engine and interior, the paint job is as brilliant a red as we've ever seen and the chassis detail is something you have to see to believe.
It's getting harder and harder not to sound like a shill, but as each new piece arrives here at TMC, it's clear to see that this is going to be a vintage year for collectors of 1/18 scale racing die cast.
It keeps getting better and better!
