Some changes this year, mostly due
to a 'competing' show in Las Vegas this October resulted in most
of the die cast companies that interest us staying away. A change
of dates for 2004 and a 'wait and see' attitude towards the Vegas
show will hopefully result in better participation next year.
We showed you photos of the new Carousel 1 Jim Clark Lotus 38, 1965 Indy
500 winner last week. Outside of that, the only major die
cast display was from GMP. We didn't get a shot of their forthcoming
Corvette C5R, but we understand that both a Dale Earnhardt and
2003 LeMans version will lead off the series in the Second Quarter
of 2004. Call TMC for further information.
GMP featured several new Camaros and
Mustangs from their Trans Am Collections.
The Jack Baldwin Hot Wheels Camaro
is due in late 2003.
The Craig Fisher Todco Racing Trans
Am Camaro is slotted for a late 2004 release.
This Ron Fellows Camaro is now available
for $99.95.
Tommy Kendall's 'All Sport' Mustang
is scheduled for the first quarter of 2004.
This very cool Smokey Yunick '68 Camaro
is also scheduled for the first quarter 2004.
No release date yet for this Paul Gentilozzi
Mustang.
This Ron Fellows driven 1994 Mustang
is available now for $99.95 plus shipping.
Hopefully, GMP will make this Denny
Hulme McLaren M8D a reality in 2004.
All dates are extremely tentative,
as most collectors know.
