3/22/02 UPDATE: The 2001 FIA Formula One Season Review Video is in stock and is even better than advertised. The entire 2001 season is covered in this 215 minute, 2 tape set at the bargain price of $39.95.
Looking at our Reservation List for the 1/12 GMP Ford GT Mk IV, we find that we are able to accept 2 more advance orders for the Gurney / Foyt 1967 LeMans winner at the issue price of $444.95. In a week or so, we will be sending out confirmation letters to everyone on the list.

3/20/02 UPDATE: Sorry for the lack up updates the past week, but I was out of town for a few days and returned with what the doctors think is pneumonia. We're open our normal business hours, but it's going to be a few more days before I can get my strength back up.

3/4/02 UPDATE: Some new product announcements from GMP: A series of 1/43 scale Can Am McLarens will be launched in May. The models will feature removable tail sections and detailed engines. The price? How does $29.95 each sound? A Gurney Lola T-70 will also be available. Two new cars in their 1/18 scale Lola T-70 series have also been announced: an A.J. Foyt driven car and the Zerex Special driven by the late Walt Hansgen. We'll have more information for you tomorrow.

3/2/02 UPDATE: Good news for Chicago racing fans. According to Paul Brian's Drive Chicago radio show on WLS this morning, a press conference will be held at Harry Carey's at noon on Monday to formally announce the resurrection of the June 30 CART race at Chicago Motor Speedway. As has been rumored for quite a while, CART will step in to promote the race. And it looks like Motorola may step up to replace Target as the event's title sponsor.

3/1/02 UPDATE: I don't know how they do it. GMP's new 3 car 1/43 scale Penske Racing Lola T-70 set is now in stock. At just $69.95, the 2,004 sets produced will not last long. More photos on the New Release Die Cast page. GMP will launch a series of 1/43 scale McLaren Can Am cars later this year. Watch this space for details as they become available.
