2/13/07 UPDATE: Minichamps delivered 1/43 scale miniatures of two of 2006's most sigificant new sports racers today: A Limited Edition release of the Penske Racing LMP2 Porsche RS Spyder that took the overall ALMS win at Mid Ohio last year and the revolutionary Diesel-powered Audi R10 that took the overall victory in the 2006 LeMans 24 Hour Race. We also have the R10 that finished 3rd at LeMans last year. All three are priced at $44.95 each. Photos are now posted on the New Die Cast Page.
TAKING ORDERS: Below is the finalized cover art for the new John Zimmermann (no relation) book on the history of Dan Gurney's Eagle racing cars. Dan and Evi Gurney approved the layout last week. We are now taking orders for what may be the most important book of 2007 for American road racing fans. The view is from the cockpit of the 1967 Belgian Grand Prix winning Eagle Westlake.
2/9/07 UPDATE: More of the 2006 Formula One grid in 1/43 scale from Minichamps arrived today ($34.95 each). Photos are now posted on the New Die Cast Page. The 2006 LeMans winning Audi R10 ($44.95) and the Penske Porsche RS Spyder ($44.95) will ship next week.
2/8/07 UPDATE: Yesterday, we held a second signing with Authors Donald Davidson and Rick Shaffer for their excellent 'Autocourse Official History of the Indianapolis 500' ($59.95). All reserved copies will ship today and signed copies are available once again at no additional charge.
