1.29.01 Update: Let's see who's paying attention: Order any in-stock item using our Secure Order Form by the close of business tonight (6pm cst), and we'll throw in a FREE Autocourse CART or F1 Calendar.
The first two Slot Cars from Fly's new GB Track line are now in stock. They are a pair of Porsche 917 Spyders from the 1971 Interserie, the European version of the Can Am. They're priced just below Fly's regular line at just $39.95 each. Check them out.
1.27.01 Update: As you may have noticed in the item above, the Bruce McLaren M8A from GMP is now sold out. The next McLaren in the series will be Denny Hulme's 1968 Can Am Championship winning M8A ($99.95). We expect delivery in April. Reserve now.
In March, GMP will release two versions of the 1966 Can Am Championship winning Lola T-70 of John Surtees. The #3 St. Jovite winner will be part of their 'regular' series of Can Am cars, but the #7 Can Am Championship winner is being produced for the Amelia Island Concours in a very limited run of just 1,500 cars. Since this is less than half the amount of Bruce McLaren M8A's produced (and the McLaren sold out in about 45 days) we expect this car to sell VERY quickly and strongly recommend advance orders.
Both new Lolas are priced at $89.95 each.

1.26.01 Update: We're starting to catch up with all of the new models that arrived this week. We'll be adding them to our January 2001 Die Cast page for the rest of the day.
The artwork of Hector Luis Bergandi has been featured in Road & Track for more than 20 years. His distinctive style is enjoyed by racing fans worldwide. The Bergandi painting shown above features Rick Mears leaving the pits on the way to his first Indianapolis 500 victory in 1979. The painting was commissioned by R&T, then purchased by a private collector. The piece is now available for just $2,700.00.
The 26" x 18" image is framed out to 39" x 30".

We also received some new slot cars, but I haven't had time to open that box yet. Stay tuned.
We're still short-handed (Rob's on jury duty and was lucky enough to catch a case with two windy lawyers), but I'll be posting as many photos as possible of the new 'stuff' throughout the day.

On the right: 'Dream Victory' by Juan Carlos Ferrigno (SOLD), signed by 2 time World Champion Mika Hakkinen and McLaren team boss Ron Dennis. TMC has acquired one copy of each print. 1.11.01 Update:
Our first major Minichamps shipment in quite a while arrived today.
The stars of the show are the stunning new BMW engined Teo
Fabi Benetton B186 and Nelson
Piquet Brabham BT52's. They are without a doubt the best 1/18
scale models ever produced by Minichamps! Both feature removable
cowlings and highly detailed BMW Turbo engines. Also arriving
today was the Elio DeAngelis
version of the Lotus Renault 97T.
Click on the links to proceed to photo sets of these new arrivals.
We've also received the 1/43 scale Teo Fabi Benetton B186 and a selection of Opel Vectras as raced in the rejuvenated German Touring Car Championship in 2000. To round it off, the shipment included a 1999 LeMans Panoz LMP in Action packaging.
We'll post photos of all the 1/43 scale arrivals tomorrow, but here are a couple of 'teaser' shots of the 'Smokin' Jo Winkelhock Opel V-8 Coupe 2000 DTM car ($39.95).

1.10.01 Update: An observant visitor to www.motorsportcollector.com pointed out overnight that we show a photo set of the Gerhard Berger Benetton B186, while offering the Teo Fabi version. You are correct, sir. The Fabi car will arrive in the US first, but we will accept orders for both. A TMC customer purchased a Berger car in Europe and brought it in to show show it to us back in November. We took the opportunity to snap off a few shots. Check out the photos HERE.

1.9.01 Update: Further evidence that Minichamps is back! We expect delivery of this stunning new 1/18 scale Benetton B-186 very shortly. As you can see, it features a removable cowling and an 'exoto like' detailed engine - at an extremely modest price. A Teo Fabi version will be here soon, a Gerhard Berger car is expected eventually.
We had a chance to photograph one of these cars last fall, when a customer brought in one purchased in Europe. It is perhaps Minichamps's best 1/18 ever! For more details and additional photos, go HERE.
No photos yet, but we will have 2 versions of the Minichamps 1/18 scale Brabham BT52 in stock soon as well. It also features a removable cowling and detailed BMW engine.

1.8.01 Update: We expect a LeMans Cadillac slot car from Scalextric this week. We're also expecting some new arrivals from Minichamps and Exoto in the next few days.
As of this morning, all 2001 Autocourse Calendars
are half price. We have both CART and Formula One flavors available.

1.5.01 Update: The 2000 British Touring Car Championship Season Review video is now in stock. As always, it contains three full hours of the best racing action out there for just $34.95. Try one, you'll like it.
The 2000 Formula One Review video is back in

We've set up a January 2001 New Model Page and will add to it as new stuff arrives. In addition to the C5-R above, we've just received a pair of 1/43 scale Ford Focus WRC cars and a fabulous 1/35 scale Panzer tank from Minichamps. I know the Panzer isn't exactly motorsport related, but it's an interesting piece from one of the highly collected manufacturers in the die cast business.
1.2.01 Update: Here's the big news we promised this morning. We can confirm that Minichamps is listing the following pieces for release in 2001:
Pricing will be announced later.
The 'Q' numbers at the end of each line indicate the quarter of 2001 that Minichamps estimates release. These estimates are usually extremely optimistic, so we strongly advise you take them with a grain of salt.
We will accept advance orders for everything here, but would request that you check the website for release information rather than calling us every week asking if they're here yet.
We hope that Minichamps will show prototypes of at least some of these pieces at the traditional winter toy shows in Germany and Hong Kong. If so, we will post photos for you as soon as possible.
It's going to be an exciting year for collectors!
